For a holiday between sea, green and lagoon
Jesolo Lido is a city that overlooks the Adriatic Sea for 15 kilometers and is crossed by two rivers, the Piave which flows into Cortellazzo (a hamlet of Jesolo) and the Sile that flows near the lighthouse, and the Venice Lagoon extends to Jesolo. These environmental characteristics offer Jesolo Lido a variety of fauna and flora almost unique in the landscape of Italy. The best way to visit these unique places in Jesolo is by bicycle, an agile and ecological means of sustainable environmental impact. We suggest you visit Cortellazzo with its charming fishermen's port and stop there and go to one of the various restaurants in the area and order the typical fish dishes of the area. When you go to Cortellazzo you will pass the green area of Jesolo in the Pineta area. You will admire the very tall native pines and you will also come across small bunkers dating back to the First World War. The sea will be a short distance away with the characteristic beach rich in dunes, a still primitive and wild place. Another route that we suggest you to take is the one, always by bicycle but also on foot, to walk the banks of the Sile river that will take you near its mouth near the lighthouse. Along the way you will admire a landscape rich in vegetation and the calm flow of the river waters.
Along the way we suggest, having reached the bridge leading to Cavallino, to continue crossing the bridge taking the right bank of the river. At some point you will notice that the lagoon of Venice will appear on your left, a suggestive environment.
